Tri Delta Transit is always interested in forging new partnerships with businesses to help provide better public transportation services to the residents of Eastern Contra Costa County.
The following is a partial list of commodities purchased by Tri Delta Transit through informal purchase:
- Shop supplies (nuts, bolts, wire,wire connectors, tape, batteries, light bulbs, zip ties)
- Personal protection gear (gloves, dust masks, safety glasses, safety vests, ear plugs)
- Bus stop repair supplies (poles, brackets, signs, concrete, plexiglass, trash cans)
- Bus parts (brake parts, coolant, oil, parts cleaner)
- Janitorial supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, garbage bags, air fresheners)
- Detail supplies (soap for bus wash, vandalism remover, glass cleaner, brooms, brushes, mops)
- Bus fuel (diesel, unleaded, renewable diesel)
- Office supplies (pens, printer paper, etc)
- Food catering
- Gifts/promotional items
The following is a partial list of typical recurring formal bids:
- Uniforms
- Advertising
- Schedule printing
- HVAC maintenance

ECCTA allows for bid/proposal submission through BidExpress. Vendors must register with BidExpress before participating at www.bidexpress.com. Registration for ECCTA solicitations is free.

How to submit a bid/proposal
Each formal solicitation package includes the due date, time, and any additional information for your submittal, including the date and time bids will be publicly opened, if applicable. Formal bids are generally opened publicly at Tri Delta Transit’s administrative office, 801 Wilbur Avenue, Antioch, CA 94509. Staff announces the names of firms and the submitted bids.
If no bids/proposals are listed, then there are none open at this time.

Notice of Sale – Vehicle Auction
Deadline: April 20, 2026 untill 3:00 pm
Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (ECCTA) is accepting sealed bids for 13 surplus Ford E450
cutaway buses, and three Grand Caravan minivans at its facility, 801 Wilbur Avenue, Antioch, California
94509.
Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 pm, local time, on Monday, April 20 at ECCTA’s facility on
Wilbur Avenue, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Everything shall be sold “as
is” and “where is”. No warranties are made or implied as to condition or usability. All sales are final.
The vehicles may be inspected at ECCTA’s facility, 801 Wilbur Avenue, Antioch, CA, 94509, between
9:00 am and 4:00 pm, local time, on Tuesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 9.
The successful buyer shall pay all sales tax, registration fees, and if any, smog certification fees, as
required by the Department of Motor Vehicles at the time of vehicle registration.
Successful bidder(s) shall be notified of acceptance of their bid. Purchase price must be paid by a
cashier’s check or certified check only, within five business days of notification. No personal checks or
cash will be accepted. Payment of the full purchase price must be made prior to removal of the vehicles
and/or equipment.
The vehicles must be picked up, at the buyer’s expense, at ECCTA’s facility, no later than Thursday, May
28 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, local time. If the vehicles are not picked up by this date and time they
may be awarded to the next highest bidder or the successful bidder.
ECCTA will make either one award or separate individual awards based upon what is most advantageous
to ECCTA. ECCTA retains the right to reject any or all bids received in connection with this sale and to
waive minor irregularities in it. Bids must be submitted on ECCTA’s Bid Form. Any bids submitted on
any other form will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.
