We’re getting ready for the launch as we’re having new processing equipment installed by Clipper, training staff, and more. Starting December 10th, Clipper, your favorite Bay Area contactless transit payment option, starts an 8–12-week transitional period for existing cards and begins the issuing of new Clipper 2.0 cards. This next generation of Clipper looks the same, but brings a faster, more flexible, and more connected fare options to riders.
