Big Truck Day is almost here!
With great success and back by popular demand, the brightest and loudest day of the year is here. The City of Antioch Recreation Department will host its Annual Big Truck Day– a day that gives families and kids of all ages an opportunity to learn more about local companies and the large vehicles they use to keep our community safe and green. Plus it`s food truck Thursday.
Come tour Tri Delta Transit`s electric battery bus. Take a fun quiz to receive a prize - all while learning about public transit.

Join Tri Delta Transit to celebrate the Bay Area’s 11th Annual Transit Month.
MTC Executive Director Andrew Fremier and CEOs from various transit agencies for a ride along event on Friday, September 11, 2026. The ride begins at 3:00 p.m. at the AC Transit Tempo Uptown Oakland Station (located at 20th and Broadway in Oakland).
The theme of the ride is financial efficiency and raising awareness of the $1 billion in cost-saving measures taken by the four agencies from July 2019 through June 2025. It is also the first year the new Clipper® card transfer discount is in effect – saving riders money every time they transfer between transit systems.
Meet the movers and shakers of the transit world and learn about Bay Area Transit. Ride-Along and have fun!
