Human Trafficking Awareness Month
January 6, 2025
January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in the United States. Public transit and transportation play a crucial role in combating human trafficking.
Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings for forced labor or commercial sex. It is important to note that ANYONE can be a victim of sex or labor trafficking.
Tri Delta Transit operators are trained to be aware of and to know the resources available. We are proud to support the efforts of national and local professionals who work tirelessly to end human trafficking.
Raise awareness by wearing blue on January 11th.
