ADA Eligibility Appeals
You can appeal the Accessible Services Department’s decision, if you are found ineligible for ADA paratransit service and disagree with the decision.
To appeal a decision, send a brief letter within 60 days of the notification stating your reasons for the appeal.

- Within 10 days of Tri Delta Transit receiving your request for an appeal, a hearing date and time will be sent to you.
- You will have an appeal hearing at our administrative office no longer than 20 days from your request date. Please find the address listed above.
- Within 30 days of the appeal hearing held, the hearing decision will be mailed to you. The appeal panel’s decision is final. ADA paratransit services will be provided until the hearing decision is made, if the process takes more than 30 days from the hearing date.
The appeals panel includes one member of each of the following:
- Peer to the applicant,
- Medical professional, and;
- Transit professional.
The appeals process will include a meeting between you (or someone on your behalf) and the appeals panel.
Important to note:
- You will be given up to ten minutes to present information to the Eligibility Appeals Panel specific to the determination of your eligibility for paratransit.
- You may bring anyone you wish along to the meeting to speak on your behalf. Tri Delta Transit will provide transportation for you to and from the appeals meeting at no charge.
- Tri Delta Transit will provide any necessary aids that you request for the appeals meeting. Aids must be requested one week in advance.
