Schedule Change Feb. 19, 2017
February 7, 2017
ANTIOCH, CA, February 7, 2017 – To respond to changes in traffic patterns associated with the Highway 4 widening project, Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri Delta Transit) is making changes to their bus schedule. These changes will take effect Sunday, February 19, 2017. All current routes will be in operation with the new schedule; select times only have been changed on 13 routes: Route 200, 201, 300, 380, 385, 387, 388, 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, and 395.
“By staying on top of the changes occurring in our area, we expect to maintain our high standard of service and improve on-time performance of our buses.” said Mike Furnary, Director of Marketing and Customer Service. “Even with the new lanes on Highway 4, the improved economy has resulted in more cars. The resulting traffic creates a need to continually evaluate our service so we can develop the most reliable schedule for our customers.”
Customers were informed about the upcoming schedule change with notices on every bus and at several bus stops. Additionally, schedule change information was posted online, on the agency’s mobile app, on social media and on traditional media channels. A preview of the revised schedule is currently available online at www.TriDeltaTransit.com.
