Tri Delta Transit is on the Move

August 13, 2021

ANTIOCH, CA, August 13, 2021 – Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri Delta Transit) wants the community to
know that buses are on the move.

Tri Delta Transit has three major moves happening, starting with All Aboard Bay Area Transit. “In these uncertain
times, Transit agencies from around the Bay want riders to know that transit is moving forward together to
provide the best possible service to riders, that agencies are maintaining their strict safety and cleaning practices,
and that transportation is continuing to connect you to where you need and want to be,” says Jeanne Krieg, CEO.

The second move is a timetable schedule change on Saturday, August 28th . “We implemented a system wide timetable change to try to find a happy mid-point to connections, as transit schedules, like BART’s, change frequently and quickly with the current reality,” says Steve Ponte, COO. “We have worked hard to prepare a schedule that better meets the needs of the community.” Schedule information can be found by picking up a printed schedule on a bus or at participating locations, such as at libraries, viewing it on our mobile app or website at www.trideltatransit.com, or by downloading the app Transit.

Tri Delta Transit made a third move of participating in Free Fare September. Fares are free all month long on Fixed Route, Paratransit, and Tri MyRide. “Tri Delta Transit wants to thank riders for their support, and to celebrate the return to riding transit,” says CEO Jeanne Krieg. “Tri Delta Transit connects you to the people, places and things that you love both locally and throughout the Bay Area.” Transit agencies like WestCAT and County Connection are free as well and BART is 50% off.
